Default Price estimate of the 2018?

I know it hasn't come out yet, but does anyone have an idea of how much the price of the 2018 will increase over the 2017? Guesstimate??

The base model which I believe is going from a NX200t to a NX300.

Like anyone, I can only make a guess, but that guess would be that the price increase will be relatively modest.

Typically, Lexus has increased the prices of vehicles from one model year to the next by somewhere between $500 and $1000. With the 2018 NX, I expect that the MSRP increase will be a little higher because, with the 2018 NX, the Safety System + will become standard on all NX, and that could add another $1000, give or take, to the price of the car.

Any price increase, however, is unlikely to be much more than those numbers because Lexus' target market for the NX is a somewhat younger demographic than are the target markets for most of their other vehicles. As such, Lexus seems to have determined that, if the MSRP of an NX gets past the mid $40,000 range, they will be cutting out a significant portion of that target market. That is likely the reason why, up to now, very few NX have been equipped with the Luxury Package, Safety Package, etc. because doing so brings the MSRP up close to the $50,000 range. That is also likely the reason why there are other features available on other Lexus models (or even on the Toyota RAV4) that have not even been available as options on the NX.

Doubt you'll be looking at much of a price increase. $1000 maybe $2000 at most. Current pricing is why they're selling at the rate they are. If it gets close to a base RX, what's the point.

the nx is already 15k more than rav4...doubt it will go up...audi and even new cadillac are much better equipped at same price.

The A, B, C, D is just the reference to the quarterly of that model when it was manufactured. Sometimes, there's price changes from one to another that's all.

Looking to buy an RX350 and this market has me bewildered. Which is the best buy;

- New 2022 for $55k
- 2020 with 30k miles for $48k
- 2018 with 20k miles for $42k
- wait for the 2023 for $60k

With such low depreciation I am struggling to see the savings in buying used. And, with the 2023 coming I am struggling to see the reason to buy a new 2022. Help!
