Default Michelin Primacy tire price comparison

I noticed Lexus IS offering $100 rebate on tires, but they price them at $179 per tire. Tire Rack has them on special for $98 per tire. That seems like a good price. Mine still have a year's worth of tread left at least.

Eh, rather go with Michelin Premier LTX or Pirelli Cinturato P7 once my Yokohamas are done.

Ditto! I have the LTX on my car. They are great. Got rid of the OEM Geolanders.

The LTX is far more expensive but, far superior to the Primacy. Best tire Michelin sells right now. Latest technology.

I myself will replace the Yokohama with the Premier LTX as well but I'll go with 255/55/18 instead.

I do see very good reviews of the Premier LTX for being quiet. There are also several comments about them wearing out prematurely, but that would be covered by the Michelin warranty I suppose. I had some Bridgestone tires on my Honda that were super quiet and soft, but they also wore out faster than the hard compound high MPG tires the vehicle came with. At least one review of the Premier LTX is critical stating he got 7-9 less MPG with the tires. That seems extreme, but that softer, more quiet Bridgestone on my Honda Civic gave me approximately 2 MPG less gas economy. Food for thought. The high price would prevent me from purchasing them. I like the Primacy tires that came with my NX, but that is why they make so many tire models. There is one for what you are looking for at a price you can justify.

I had those tires on my is250...junk imo. look at pirelli cintauro, they have the newest tech in tires and are affordable, long lasting, and performance orientated.

+1 Pirelli Cinturato P7 is great tire. I had these on the car I just sold and it performed really well.
