I turned my driver side heated seat on to the lowest setting and everything seems fine until I shut off the car and restarted it within 5 minutes or so. All of a sudden, without touching the settings, the seat became really warm, like having the heat turned to the max; however, this only happens when it is restarted within a short time. If I let it sit overnight or for a few hours it doesn't happen. I'm not sure if the passenger side does the same, haven't really tested it.

Does anyone notice the same thing on their car? It is not a big deal but since it's a Lexus and still under warranty, it would be great if there's a fix.

I have never noticed that phenomenon and have been using the seat heater since October here. Best to have it checked out.
