Dumb question...let's say you set a destination on the nav system and before getting to the destination you want to stop/end the guidance. What is the simplest way to do this? BTW I just turned in my es350 without nav and got the wife a new 2016 rx-350 awd w/nav and I got a new 2016 nx-200t awd w/nav. We are both stumped on this...(we would expect a simple cancel button to be displayed). Thank you!

While in the Nav/map view, click on Dest. button at the bottom and in the next screen there there's a Del. Dest button...

should be able to also issue a voice command:

delete next destination
delete final destination
delete all destinations

You can also go to the top of the map screen you're on and click on "OPTIONS".
In the drop down menu you can click on "STOP GUIDANCE" .

You can if you want later in the same menu click on "RESUME GUIDANCE" if you have not
entered another destination and want to continue on your destination as set.

I often use the "Pause Guidance" feature for when I get off the freeway to make a quick stop to get coffee or use the facilities. Once I get back into the NX, I choose "Resume Guidance".

There's nothing worse than having the nav voice nag me while making a pit-stop. LOL!

Good to know, I could not figure it out on my RC. With a new NX coming into the family next week it will come in handy.

I need some help with stopping the nav guidance on NX300 2018 year. How to stop navigation completely, if I want to stop it before I reach the destination? There is an option to pause the guidance but after the car is switched off , the navigation guidance is going back to the last destination after the car has been started again. That’s completely crazy. I can’t see the option to complete stop the guidance. Any tips?

I believe you click on that water drop icon and then cancel or stop route.
