I'm sure many of you have seen the recent mild refresh of the IS. I'm hoping and praying they do the same for the 2017 NX (few interior changes would be nice). Of course hopefully the 2017 model includes the 300 V6.

Wondering if anyone else is thinking this might happen.

This a new model. They will not make any changes like that for a while.

What don't you like in the interior?

The IS came out as a '14 with the refresh for '17, so with the NX coming out for '15, I would expect some updates for the 2018 model year. Similarly, the GS came out for MY13 and received its refresh for '16.

Very minor changes; just me being picky.

1. screen could be bigger
2. new touch remote system (RX/IS) rather than touchpad
3. padding for the arm when using the touchpad could be better.
4. Not a fan of the vanity mirror.

On a side note bring the following to the north american market:

1. power folding side mirrors
2. panoramic sunroof
3. mark levinson

The NX is a totally new model and like when the RX debuted in 99 there were very small changes over the years. I had a 99 and 2005 and frankly they were very much the same. The seats, dash board and most of the interior did not change very much. For this reason I don't see much changes on the new NX.

When professionals talked about the RX's they said that Lexus IS not going to mess with a good thing. It's there number one seller. Lexus will look to accomplish the same from the NX. If anything I can see some technical type changes and changes with some of the complaints with road noise and wind noise from the Windows.


Just my take of course.

I would like to have touch screen like most toyotas has it now. it makes it much more simple without too many buttons.

I might sound a lil selfish here, but I actually prefer Lexus won't make drastic changes for the NX just yet. Coz if they do, then some of us are gonna get jealous and will be tempted to trade in. lol

The Mousepad is not the problem, The problem lies with the software HORRIBLE it's the windows 95 of cartech .

I love the car but what held me back is no 8 speed transmission

I see many Lexus cars have it and nx didn't

Hope they can get by 2018 when my current lease is up
