It gets really sunny and hot here in Texas so a sun shade is a must when the car is not in the garage. We are re-using an old sun shade from our previous CUV even though it doesn't really fit right. Been searching online for a proper sun shade for the NX.

A few questions...
Does Lexus make a sun shade that will fit the NX?
Is there a sun shade you have used and would recommend for the NX?

I use uvs100 custom sunscreen from covercraft.com. I recommend it. The ones sold by Carid.com are lower priced and may be fine as well.

This is the one I have. Full windshield coverage. Stows easily in the pocket behind my passenger front seat.

eclipse sun shade is what I used on my previous cars. I would recommend this. Very easy to install and works really well. You can have them stay onto the windshield or remove them very easily.

I might consider this on since it looks like it is easy to fold up and store. It looks like a universal sunshade, how well does it fit the NX?

Good choice with great value ---- this shade is based on the same design of Lexus Japan Dealer option. The one sold by Lexus Japan costs at least 10 times than what Amazon is selling but with a much thicker and higher quality holder case and it is custom fit for each Lexus vehicles. Also there are some finer details such as the edge flaps are made with Vinyl material.

I have the Lexus sunshade for IS and RX. If going for a NX, the one you have is probably the one we would go for.

This may not be the thread for this question but I will ask it anyway. Just special ordered a 2016 NX. On another forum that I am not a member, someone ordered a 2016 also, and one of the options he listed was tinted glass for less than $300 from factory. Does anyone know if there is such an option, or is he just pre-paying for glass to be tinted after production?

I recommend covercraft sunshades. I've been using mine for months and noticed have a really high quality product which is custom fit and works well.
