So, we finally picked up the EW F-Sport with rioja interior yesterday. Things were busy as we actually picked up 2 cars at the same time. I spent some time setting things up on the NX first. I can't find instructions on how to get traffic information on the navy screen. In the RX, there was an option to overlay this, but can't find it on the NX. Same issue on the 15 IS as well. Can someone who point me in the right direction please?

Make sure that you have this turned on in Options : Map Information : Traffic Information.

I just noticed that you are in Canada. I don't k now whether HD Radio has traffic information there. Anyone else?

I just went to the car to check, and there is no option to select traffic information on the map information menu. Only POI and Trace Route option. In the RX we would get traffic data through the normal FM band. Doesn't the new models still support traffic through FM band?

I believe the NX is only through HD Radio or the AppSuite phone app. I'm not sure about the availability of that in Canada. As you are well aware, we Americans are generally idiots about anything Canadian unless it's some politician telling us how awful (or wonderful) your healthcare system is.

When your traffic information is enabled a symbol with what appears to be 3 cars appears in the upper left area of your NAV screen.

I just came back from a weekend trip to SC from Ohio. I noticed traffic information was displayed only near the big cities I passed through.

It appears when you're in an area that is transmitting information as needed, the right side of the traffic icon in the upper left corner of your NAV screen turns orange.
