Maybe it was just me but I had bad luck lowering mine. Oh, and camber kits are a must!
Mine drives perfect with the camber kit. I have the tears and front bolts. Yes camber kit is a must and it's cheap

Hi all, not new to the forum, been following for some time now. I must say, there are some well put together NX's out there! I am picking up a black 2017 Lexus NX F-Sport (AWD) in a few days. I want to lower it (springs) with 22x9, (+33 or +38 offset) wheels. Will I experience any rubbing or possible hitting of the plastic?

When I had mine installed, I had rubbing for the first 3 weeks then went away. But no hole was made through the wheel well. It was mostly when I turned the wheel all the way left or right when parking or getting out of the parking the lot. Ive been wanting to do the lowering springs cuz I think it would complete the look but Im afraid of rubbing again or rubbing when I have alot of people ride in the car. Ive been waiting for someone else do it with 22's too. lol

Lol, I've come across a few lowered with 22s and really like the look but I want to know how bad it will rub before pulling the trigger. Also want to see how much gap is left on the AWD version.

Aez Cliff 18/8 et34 with 255/55 Nokian zLine SUV.

its quiet, looks good (for my preferences) and works great in rain and even in mud

but

there is some rubbing from time to time. I don't know whats the deal. Sometimes there is noise on minor bump @ 10mph, sometimes I can cross traffic stoppers @30mph with no issue. Maybe tire itself makes this noise because its too wide for the rim. I really have nonidea.

Are you lowered on any springs?

OEM RX F-Sport rims are 20". They will fit the NX but the tire size must be lower profile so that the overall diameter is the same.

it wasn't rubbing but some (totally unrelated) pressure on incorrectly screwed body element. Now its perfect. 255/55r18 et34 = good fit

If you don't mind telling me where can I buy the Lexus RX f sport wheels? I'm located in NY if that narrows down the places. A website would work too.

Yes, lowered. Reach out to Lou from ModinJapan for all your car needs. He'll take care of you. Here's a recent photo with the front lip.

Lip looks nice! Mounting spots all on OEM holes? Any drilling required?
