It does the trick for me, and I find it very comfortable. I am not a big guy, 6'2 175 pounds. Maybe the wallet idea would help some others, but most seem to complain about the right side.
I have found that, in general, if your wallet is more than about 1/2" thick you have too much stuff in there. For starters, no one needs more than two or three credit/debit cards with them at all times.

Haha ... U made me go measure the wallet lol .... It is actually 11/2 inches , but it is the way it's designed ... I don't have many cards in there , and all my cash went to the NX purchase

My biggest concern is the bolster on the left had drivers side. Every time I get out of the car I feel as though I am pulling myself up and over it. Curious as to how it holds up over time.
Yes, I feel the same about getting in and out , and wondering if the seat will wear out quicker in that regard .

The left bolster is where i experience the discomfort. It is very rigid and has plastic molded into so it keeps it shape. That reinforced portion is where I experience the discomfort after driving for extended periods of time. I would get a seat cushion for long drives, but who wants that. This is my only negative with the entire car. I wish there was something that could be done.

I like the seats. My wife and I embarked on a 2400 mile road trip a few days after taking delivery of our NX F sport. The NX was a beautiful vehicle for such a trip, very quiet & comfortable.

My tiny wife hates the seats- the lower bolsters bug her and bother her back. She is 5'2" and tiny. I'm 6'3" and 210lbs and they fit me GREAT.

I bought a seat pad - a cheap one- Magnetic Bubble Seat Cushion- some 2" foam from e-bay for car seats. I molded the cushion to sit in the lower section of the seat then cut the bubble seat in half and sewed it up. -

The seat she said is 100% better and really comfy now. -whew

If the seat bugs you I would suggest some 2" - 1.8 lbs- high density foam. 100% recovery rate. Works awesome. You can make your cover out of whatever material you prefer. Just be sure it fits snug between the bolsters. The bolsters still work btw.

You could do it for 20.00-25.00 probably. If you can source a small piece of foam.

I felt the similar discomfort on the left side during the first few days. I thought I made a mistake getting the f sport. But my wife didn't haven't any issues with it. Having had the nx for about a month now, I don't even notice it. Just to provide some context, we've driven 1800 miles in under a month.

Also for reference , I'm 5'10 and my wife is 5'2

Happy wife, happy life!

BTW, thanks for the suggestion on the foam.

She wanted to trade the NX in it had 300 miles on it. I told her I'd fix the seat. She absolutely didn't think it would work , it did. Yeah , happy wife , happy for a week........not life , that's hogwash. :-)

This is the sheet I bought , I have enough extra to do several more seats.

For one, the seat width between the bolsters is 1 inch narrower than the IS's.

Next, the accelerator pedal is placed further to the right on the NX which causes the driver to naturally lean the leg more to the right against the bolster.

In short, we can see the NX F Sport seats are a tighter fit and along with the firm bolsters and accelerator pedal placement, which combined, can explain why some owners have had some discomfort concerns.

As NX F Sport owners, how do the bolsters affect your seating comfort?
I sat in the RC not too long ago and even the though the seats looked very similar they were wider and more comfortable.
