Default Trailer Hitch receiver for the NX300

Been searching for a trailer hitch receiver and cannot find one. Anyone have any direct contact with Curt MFG to know if they have one coming out. Did not notice one at Sewells' either. Thanks for your help.

Question Saw that

Just because I can afford a Lexus doesn't mean that I'm willing to pay 4 times the price of regular Curt hitches. Not being cheap but just realistic. No thanks to the Lexus advertised hitch.

I've confirmed with one of the tech guys that part number 112003 will fit on your vehicle. This is what he said "I can't see any obvious differences and guess they haven't carried it over because they haven't seen one... wheelbase and VIN codes haven't changed... my guess is they are the same.." however, just to be on the safe side, I would call your dealer just to confirm if the 2013 and 2014 are the same. If so, then you can definitely order Curt's part number 112003.

Here is a dealer that sells Curt products. I've ordered from them many times. The company is called Hitchweb and here is the link: Class 1 Hitch Lexus CT200h

Hope this answers your question!

SweetSally; hope you are right. Plan on taking the 112002 hitch off my 2014CT200 when I trade it in and try it. It is the Euro hitch versus the traditional kind. Think 11200x's are same. Wonder if the wiring harness 56099 by Curt that fits my CT200 will also fit the new NX300.

Forgot to mention that today a Curt MFg. rep. told me nothing is in the engineering plans now for the NX's. Slow as usual.

the technicians at my dealer installed one last week, it was a very labor intensive job, requiring the entire rear bumper to be removed and roughly 4 hours of labor...

Was it an F-Sport and due to the rear lateral performance damper being (possibly) in the way?

The hitch 112003 will not fit the NX. It fits the CT200. Took mine off my CT trade in to see and not near enough wide nor holes for bolts wide enough. Order the Curt 12108 today and will get around Sat. It looks like it will fit and the specs are very close. The 12108 fits the 2014 rav4. Only concern I have is the muffler setup. On Toyotas the muffler goes front to back whereas the Nx300 Murrler goes side to side. Will let everyone know if it fits once I get it. Not but $120 from Amazon. Called Curt Mfg to get the specs. and they look about right. Curt has the policy of not recommending trailer hitches for cars that are do not recommend them. Still does not show the CT200 hitch # that I sent them the info. on. Guess they are worried about law suits, etc.

Curt trailer hitch receiver 12108 fits my NX300 nicely. Took less time that installing the hitch on my CT200 about 10 months ago. Really took only about 20 minutes after opening the box. Just crawled up the car and installed on the ground. Very easy.

On the SewellParts.com / NX200T / Exterior / Trailer Hitch page there are downloadable instructions for install (includes hybrid and gas instructions). There is this note on the main trailer hitch page just above the linked instructions :

Note: F-Sport NX models required to remove rear suspension damper and bar for installation.

I do not use Lexus trailer hitches. For over 12 years now on about 6 different Lexus's I have used Curt trailer hitches. The Lexus hitches cost about 5 times the price and come in numerous different parts. If you are pulling heavy trailers then go with Lexus but for trailers for mowers and general around town use the Curt hitches are very suitable.

Default Hitch for an NX200t

Just picked up an NX200t yesterday and will need to add a hitch. Couple questions: do you think the Curt 12108 will fit the NX200 as nicely as it does on your NX300, and would you please send a pic of the installed hitch... I'm curious how it looks under the rear bumper. Thanks.

When i do a "2014 RAV4 Trailer Hitch" search... I also get CURT 13149.

CURT 12108 is a Class-II hitch - 300 lbs tongue weight - 3500 lbs towing - 1 1/4" coupler ($105 on Amazon Prime)
CURT 13149 is a Class-III hitch - 525lbs tongue weight - 3500 lbs towing - 2' coupler ($139 on Amazon Prime)

based on jalford's 12108 install, the 13149 should fit as well. (this is all speculation!) seeing as I want it for tongue weight for a trailer hitch storage shelf that has a 2 inch insert, the 13149 would do better or me...
