Default Electrochromic rear view mirror

This question is for Corrado or anyone else that can tell me why there is a $125.00 extra cost for the electrochromic (auto-dimming) inside rear view mirror with the Homelink garage door opener?

I know a rearview mirror comes standard on the NX, but I'm not sure the HomeLink garage door opener is standard. I think HomeLink is standard on the RX, at least the RX's I've purchased.

So is the HomeLink within the mirror what you're paying for with the 125.00 extra cost or are there other extras included?

is homelink park of comfort package which is included with the premium package?

if so, the sticker still lists as separate price of 125.00

I hear you. Based on the official specs sheet, the Homelink is included in the Comfort Package (which is part of the Premium package) and therefore the additional Homelink item and $125 charge should be omitted. I've seen similar minor discrepancies with Lexus Canada print as well though at least the "good news" with the Homelink line item is the cost is negligible in the grand scheme of things. I would print the PDF spec sheet and show up to the dealer to clarify the matter to make sure 1. you're not being double-dipped (even if it's only $125; and 2. to ensure you do get the Homelink in the Comfort Package if the explicit Homelink line item is removed in the contract).

yes i have contacted corporate and they want me to send them a photo of the sticker. it is a minor charge but still the principal is what bothers me, i do not plan on paying that, i had already worked up my pricing with my order of matador red/flaxen interior, premium, nav, power liftgate,ec mirrors, heated steering wheel (my biggest wish list item) and there was no mention of that charge but deal is not final until build date...i do have corporate pricing so i am very fortunate on that. just have to wait ti feb or march for delivery. thanks for the info.

I too think it's an oversight. This reminds me of the time I was charged extra labor for reinstalling the drive belts as part of a timing belt/water pump job. (Independent repair shop on a Highlander) I no longer go there.
