However, I have talked to 3 dealers around my area and they all seam like ignoring me when I try to get between 10-13% off the MSRP during the negotiating part. They said all they could do was about 5% off MSRP. Is it too much to ask for in my region?
Thanks everyone.
I'm in SoCal and i just bought the fully loaded one OTD $43,500 with msrp $46,863 on BlackFriday. The dealer also gave me free 2 yrs maintenance service. I don't think 10-13% is too much to ask but maybe every regions are different.

PM me if you are willing to fly down to CA and drive your NX up to where you live. I can help you get a better deal. .

Anyone purchase from Lexus of Wayzata recently? I’m looking at a 2019 F-Sport but haven’t vistited the dealer yet. They have a stranglehold in Minneapolis so my expectations are low. They also add a lot of dealer installed options to every single NX.

Well after searching various dealers in the midwest it appears my local dealer is the most expensive in the midwest. They seem to be about $4k higher.

From my recent car search, the Chicago area dealers offer pretty good discounts. The only way my local dealer would budge was if I showed him the quotes I got from other dealers.

9.96% tax here in King County WA. Can be 9.98%. Basically, you add ten percent atop of anything that is not food.

Here's my deal, x-posted from the Edmunds forums. This is for the DFW area.

2019 NX Base with all the trimmings. Nav, power everything, 360 parking, etc.

MSRP: $44,933
Negotiated Price: $42,618 (basically invoice + $295 for tint)
Lease Cash: $2500 ($2000 incentive + $500 loyalty)
OTD Price: $40,118 (10.72% off of MSRP)

Lease Length: 36 months
Mileage allowance: 45,000 (15K/year)
Residual Value: $23,814.49 (53%)
Money Factor: .00065

They gave me a 5.25% sales tax credit on the sale of the car itself, so I paid 1% instead of 6.25% state tax.

Total taxes and fees: $751.18 (including sales tax, title, registration, etc)

I put down $1000 to cover the TTL + first month's payment.

Monthly payment is just under $520.

2019 F-Sport with options including Apple CarPlay. Minneapolis. Seems like there are better deals in other parts of the country but I have few options in Minneapolis. He said this was the best he could do.

12,000 miles
MSRP $48,652
Dealer price $45,990
Lease cash $2524
Cap cost $43,466
Residual $27,245
Money factor .00105
taxes $1,421
Lic/doc $664
Fees $832
Due at signing $3,443
$524.82/month
Total paid at end of lease $21,812

Edmunds says this is what I should pay for my area but I don't know how accurate that is.

Ouch, this is ugly. Last week, I got a quote for a friend for the exact same MSRP for 419 monthly with about 1500 down. This is in SoCal but even if you pay 1000 bucks for shipping you will save about 3K.

I know that’s the area I’m in. Edmunds adds over $1k due to the region.

you don't have to settle with that. I am also in a very brutal area but I drove 1000 miles to get my vehicle. if you don't want to drive you can ship it and still save a lot of money.

What would that entail? Driving that distance isn't an option for me. What does shipping usually cost?

shipping usually costs 1000-1500 bucks. Dealers usually have preferred shippers so you can just ask them.

Is it out of the question to ask for 10% off MSRP in addition to the $2k lease cash?

Not much luck so far with out of state dealers. They don't seem interested in pursuing an out of state deal. I tried Chicago and Virginia. The dealer in Des Moines Iowa offered $1k less than my local dealer which equates to 7.58% off MSRP. That's not enough for me to deal with an out of state purchase. He basically took $1k off the downpayment and kept the payments the same. He didn't offer any other details.
