Totally new to the car game.

We we got a quote of $40,222 OTD with taxes and fees For a model that is $40,908 MSRP without tax and fees on a Lexus nx300 2019 with park assist, rear door kick sensor, comfort package, and heated seats. I looked on true value and it averages about $37,500 selling price without taxes and fees included.

Negotiations havent started but he is is willing to budge on the OTD price. We are also looking to buy.

Can anyone one tell me if that is a good or bad deal for a 2019 Lexus NX 2019 model?

compare to what others are paying here . It seem like price are little too high. Should email couple more dealerships and compare the prices. I found that dealers with bigger inventory are more likely to give better deals.

whats a relatively good price OTD with taxes included for a 2019 nx300 in your opinion?

I would at least aim for 10%-13% off MSRP + $500 Lexus rebate + tax and tag for 2019 model
But I bought the 2018 so I won’t know if dealer will give the same discount for the 2019 model. But I see couple people here got a great deal on the 2019 model hopefully they can share some info with you

OTD price with taxes will be different from states to states.

so $40,908 - $4090.8 -$500 = $36,317. And on top of that see if I can get that number subtracted with tax too? I’m in California so it’s 7.75% is $2814.58. That would be $39,131.58 OTD. Or did you mean $33,502.42 OTD? The $33k seems pretty unrealistic haha

yea 39k OTD with tax is where I’m comfortable at max if I’m buying but I will try get it to lower if possible
