First time leasing wanted to get some input.

NX300 Eminent White - FWD
Comfort package and extras (no nav)
MSRP: $40.3

$750 loyalty credit.

What is a reasonable amount I should negotiate to? We would like to get 15K miles for a 4 year lease.

Just want to get your guy's opinion:
Lease:
2018 NX base + a small options = 38,500
sales price = 35,7500
minus = 750.0
3k down
366 (tax incl)
48 months. @ 10k miles/year
residual is 19,800.00

Should I do it?

Default Just Got My NX

Picked up my NX300 this past weekend from the downtown Toronto dealership. Premium Package. I am still getting used to it. Switched from a BMW X3. I didn't realize this package doesn't have the front and back parking censors 😬 anyhow...

I ended up paying $2500 down (including first payment) and $630/month for a 39 month lease. Btw, this price includes all maintenance and the extra care package that covers lost keys and new tires. (I still don't know too many details...have to read up on it)

Well, the drive is sporty which I like, reminds me a bit of the X3 but I am missing some features like being able to connect my iPod via USB and see my playlists on the display. I called Lexus, they said if I have Bluetooth connected, I can’t connect music via USB. I also don't like the fact that there is no 360 camera. I was used to this with my x3 and also used to the front and rear sensors..which my NX is missing. It's slightly less roomier than the X3 but I'm ok with that. I'm actually enjoying the ride..just have to get used to these differences..

That is an amazing deal. Here in Texas, dealers not offering that much off MSRP.

Thanks! I forgot to factor the acquisition fee of $795 ($39,795 all in). Closed the deal today. $424 a month, $0 down, 36m/10k.

Best deal I could get after talking to 7 dealers and pinning offers against each other.

Probably...but not sure about TX market. My 2018 NX AWD F-Sport (from the DC Area..Silver Spring, MD to be exact) had MSRP of $44,474 and I got it down to $39,000 (INCLUDING all taxes/fees). That was the all-in walk-out price. So I got the car price was down to like $37,000 (before taxes/fees). I got about $7,500 off MSRP (~17%). I decided to lease though, so the grand total was +$795 for acquisition fee ($39,795). I'm paying about $426 a month...I might actually buy it after my lease ends..I did the math and to be honest, its like paying a 5 year loan to purchase over 8 years...but with much lower monthly fees. It's not costing me much more (very little in fact), especially when you take into account everything lease covers for first 3 years and the what I can do with the monthly savings (investing, etc).

If I were you, I'd all ever Lexus dealership within 100 miles and just start asking for best offers for all in cost..and then just telling what price you want..start very low and let them counter..eventually you'll hit a ceiling where you feel these dealerships cannot cross...as a last resort tell them "what the other guy is offering" - to finalize and get price. I called all 7 dealerships in my area and spoke to them all multiple times over 3 days until I got the lowest price possible in the area at the time (at least during my efforts).

That's what I did. Just my 2 cents.
