Ditto my experience in the Bay Area. I did better myself by emailing internet sales managers.

In addition to our 5 day old 2018 NXh, I also purchased a 2017 Prius earlier this year via the same method. Costco can give you a good place to begin, but it can absolutely be beat by a handsome amount, if you're so willing to press on.

Total CAP Cost is $40.625.25
Lexus Lease Rebate : $750.00
Drive off : $1,500.00
Total Profit: -$2,693.42

- Payment Recap : $390.37 + 7.75% = $420.56

---------------------------------------------------------
PURCHASE OPTION:

Original MSRP: $46,458.00
Price $40,907.00
DOC FEE: $80.00
LICENSE FEE:$266.00

I have spotted a atomic silver with black interior for you, MSRP of $47,218.We will sell it to you for $49,733 out the door."

Gotta be a joke, right? Or are FL dealers selling at this price?

Hey, yes thats ridicolous in my opinion, however you are talking about a 2018 that are in short supply (plus dealers have 17s sitting around)
I am in Tampa also, call the Tampa/Clearwater and Sarasota dealers, call and email all of them separately. I did the same, initial email numbers are always ridiculous. I would say go in physically to the closest one (without intent to buy) or call them to show interest. That was my strategy. You can see my post for a 17 lease above (not sure if its a good deal), they quoted me 570 then 550, then 500 then 470 etc etc over the course of a few weeks. They wanted 600ish per month/zero down for a base 18 (two months ago).

Guys, I just wanted to finalize my deal before I put up th dealer info: but I dealt with Denice Avila at Lexus of Glendale. She is a pleasure to deal with, and you can find her contact info on their website. I couldn't have been more impressed or happier with the process. No one in San Diego could touch their deal for me.

^ only way they walking back of invoice is dealer cash, That's a rebate. They are not going to give you a car for a loss of money.

$3,000 below invoice is very, very hard to believe.

when I priced out my NX using Costco auto, the deal I got was $3k below the supposed invoice shown on Costco auto. Not sure how accurate it is, but that's assuming it's correct.

New member here. I have never leased before, wonder if you guys could help me. I received 2 quotes, one with 0 down and one with $1,500 drive off (same terms and all). The cap cost on $1500 drive off is about almost $1200 less. What would be the difference between 0 down VS $1500 drive off? Would putting $1,500 drive off lower the cap cost?

Thanks.

The cap cost is the cost of the car. The cap cost minus the residual is the amount that has to be paid over the lease period. By paying $1500 up front, you're reducing the cap cost, which may reduce your lease payments a little. I suspect that $300 of the drive off is profit for the dealer, since it doesn't appear to be coming off the cap cost.
