:ditto: I usually determine invoice price and how much above or below invoice the discount is. Right now on 2016 you should be close to $5k off MSRP, not sure on 2017's.

http://www.parkplacelexusgrapevine.c...hQuery=2091166
Dealer said 39,960 is the price. Plus tt&l of course.
Should I push for more or do U guys think it's a good deal. I know it's personal preference as to what a good deal is. But I am asking if it were u, would u take that or not?
Thanks

I think it is a good deal. It is about what I got a few weeks ago. I would jump on it if that is the car you want it.

I am trying to see what they would do on the same one but 2017. I'd like to have a year newer model if it's an extra 1k or so.
Well keep u updated.

.The deals on the 2016's will be around $3k better. I am guessing Lexus is providing more trunk money to dealers to move the 16's.

I think the dealer would lose money on the 2017's if the discounted more than a couple grand.

you can definitely get a better price than that. I recently purchased a 2017 for way less than what they are offering you on the 2016

I priced out my 2016 as a 2017 and it came out at $2K less at MSRP than my '16.

I noticed that you guys comparing numbers live in different parts of the country. This can significantly impact pricing.

Here in San Diego, the dealer was offering $7k off 2016 NX's without F sport package and $5k off F sport equipped models.

California tends to be more pricey for cars simply because dealers have higher overhead costs.

I should also note the dealers in San Diego close to major city centers have the worst prices. Won't even negotiate over email.

I drove 30 min north to get the best deals after negotiating via email.

Kind of keep a running update... I was working with two out of town dealers (knoxville and nashville) on 2016's. Both identical cars when my local dealer called. I told them about the great deals I was working with the other dealers and they asked if they can get involved in bidding for the business both with their in stock 2017.

Here's where I am at right now on the 2017 (all three vehicles are identically optioned with the exception that the 2017 has all weather mats, all under 20 miles)
  • White on Black
  • F Sport
  • Navigation Package
  • Comfort Package
  • Premium Package
  • Premium Triple Beams
  • Power Rear Door
  • Rear View with Home Link
  • Side Mirrors with w/blind spot
  • Heated perforated leather
  • Parking Assist
  • Pre Collision w/all speed cruise control
  • (2017) All weather Floor and Cargo

They're saying they will match the 2016 price of $36,980.00. I'm feeling pretty good about the deal but i'm waiting to see it in writing first when she gets in tomorrow.

I do have to laugh because she told me it required premium gas due to the upgrade suspension :-)

Incredible deal. That has to be the lowest price I have seen especially with the options listed. That has to be close to a 25% discount.
I wonder if Lexus is close to an annual sales target and is getting more aggressive. That have to be losing money on the deal.
