29495 pounds equals $49738 for the nx300h. An epic fail if it cost that much.

New Lexus NX Crossover Priced in the UK from £29,495; Hybrid Arrives First, Turbo in March 2015

Lexus has officially priced the rakish NX crossover for the UK market, where it and its huge spindle grille are available from £29,495, currently exclusively in hybrid form – the NX300h.

These petrol-electric variants will be the first to arrive in showrooms this October, with the much talked about NX200t model, sporting Leuxs’ new downsized, turbocharged two-liter engine, will be delayed until March. Front- and all-wheel drive versions will be offered.

When it does finally arrive, though, the NX200t will be only available in F-Sport guise, though the same bumper- and side skirt-enhancing trim will also be available on the hybrid – you can order one of those now, with all-wheel drive from £36,995; top-spec Premier cars end up costing £42,995.

Still, if you opt for the basic front-wheel drive version, the one with the headline price, what do you get? Well, it looks as striking as any other NX, with no visible exterior changes, and features 17-inch alloys, LED low-beam headlights and DRLs, active crash prevention tech, eight airbags and USB media support, to name but a few. Opt for SE and wheels grow to 18 inches, roof rails are added, as is all-wheel drive, along with heated front seats, rain-sensing wipers, self-dipping mirror and keyless access.

F-Sport is the next trim up, and it adds LEDs to the headlights’ high beam function, sport suspension is added, along with a powered tailgate and steering wheel column.

Premium is what all fully-loaded NXs will be called. It comes with differently designed 18-inch wheels, heating and ventilation for the front seats, memory driver’s seat, Rear Cross Traffic Alert and a 360-degree panoramic view, along with Lexus Premium Navigation, a £1,995 option if specified on its own.

What does the current RX cost over there on UK. We might be able to make a reasonable guess from that.

its not easy for people to figure this out, right? :-)

Important part here is that it is priced exactly the same as IS300h... this is really good.

Power tailgate
Wireless smartphone charger

Premier model builds on the Luxury specification with:
18-inch alloys with dedicated design
Headlights with LED high and low beam functions
Auto-dimming door mirrors
Heated and ventilated front seats with lumbar support
Driver’s seat position memory
Mark Levinson audio system
Card key
Lexus Premium Navigation
360-degree panoramic view
Automatic high beam
Lane Keep Assist
Head-up Display
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
Heated steering wheel
Lexus NX options and option packs
Lexus Navigation is available as an option (£995) on all S, SE, Luxury and F Sport grades, with the more sophisticated Lexus Premium Navigation system (£1,995) additionally offered for F Sport.
The NX 300h Luxury can be specified with a Convenience Pack (£495), comprising the new wireless smartphone charger and power-operated tailgate). Customers can add a sunroof (£1,000) to the F Sport and Premier NX models and Lexus’s Adaptive Variable Suspension system (£750) can added to the F Sport specification. Across the board, metallic paint is a £645 option.
Keep in mind that UK equipment is almost always different than continental europe... prices for high end models is more expensive than similar IS.

Great find. Now it confirms with what has been reported on the Japanese Min Kara Carview web site in April, regarding the single eye headlamp ---- it is actually an LED and not HID.

http://minkara.carview.co.jp/en/user...blog/32905962/

For the single eye headlamp, I bet it shares some characteristics with the one used in 2014 Toyota Corolla. Since it is low beam only, the high beam is probably still halogen?

Prep now for the disappointment. It was stated elsewhere the 360 deg pano monitor is NOT coming to the US which for me 99% chance likely means it will not come to Canada either.

I wouldn't consider this applicable to the US or Canada. HOWEVER, if you caught my other posts in this forum on availability, the NX will be very scarce in 2014 confirmed for Canada. I'm still wondering what the word is for the US but chances are the US will follow suit as well. In all of Canada, we're talking only ~175 - 200 NX units for Q4 2014 across the 40 Lexus dealers. My dealer, one of the larger ones, is getting only six. Because of this info I got back in April from my dealer, I immediately reserved an F-Sport (200t) via a deposit and signed contract for delivery "by end of 2014". So technically speaking, we can expect F-Sports in Q4 2014, but if like Canada, you better reserve one if you want it then. For the UK, if the 200t is coming out in March, we can speculate it's because the initial production volume of the 200t will be sent to those markets in Q4 2014 (i.e. Canada + US) suited for this model (i.e. demand for it) more so than the hybrid (i.e. Europe).

That's ok with me (in the USA), I still recall buying a Prelude back in the 80's when they were in short supply and the best deal I could find was $1k OVER MSRP. I am ok waiting until all the Lexus Lots are full and they have some factory incentives to deal....

there will be incentives down the road, just like with any other car... however question is when and if it is good to wait for a year to get $3k off? For me, it would not be.

I think this car will be wildly popular in rest of the world, much more so than in the USA, so USA shipments might not be big for the start.

New Harrier in Japan (also based on Rav4, but much more so) outsold complete Lexus Japan sales for first 6-7 months on sale, Japanese want this car, and so does rest of the world.
