Default Lexus NX Real World Pictures and Videos Thread

So we are starting to see pictures of the NX out in the wild and when we do, post them in this thread. Here's what some of you have posted in the "official" thread, to get things started.

Looking at the dimensions of the first gen RX and the NX dimensions.....they are very similar. I think the length of the NX is longer by 2 inches compared to the original RX. Think the NX is just lower by a little bit.... If this is true the NX isn't that small....just the perfect size!

The RAV4 is 179.9" and the NX 182.3" in length

The width in both the RAV4 and NX is the same at 72.6"

The wheel base in both the RAV4 and NX is the same at 104.7"

I show the weight of the RAV4 as @ 3,600 lbs but have not seen the weight yet for the NX.

^^^Agree. The NX will highly likely be heavier. My dad has the newest RAV4 and the doors feel a little "tinny" and hollow when you open and close them shut. Lexus will have more solid sounding doors as an indication of more, thicker/quality materials including more sound deadening. My guess is the 200t will be about 200 lbs more than a RAV 4 maybe topping out at 3800 lbs, while the 300h around 3900 lbs (batteries and e motors add the weight). Just "guesstimates" at this point but I'd be surprised if it were 4000 lbs+.

I still like the NX. I'm just picking on the photo people.
Photoshop is amazing, isn't it?

Lexus is about to release two highly stylish and boisterous cars that have so much edge (pun intended) that seperates them from everything else on the road. Something tells me the next RX, LS, GS refresh and LF-LC are going to be good.

hard to say, depending on options, maybe from 90lbs... Avalon to ES350 is 90lbs. But here we have different engine so who really knows,,, in any case, it will be a lot quicker than a Rav4 thats for sure.

Hopefully the NX will ride much better then the RAV4. I think the extra weight will help.
The navigation screen on the RAV4 is terrible with sun glare.

I see the navigation screen in the NX will be much like an iPad. I'm a little concerned with sun glare on it. Unlike the RX the screen will not be shielded at all from glare. It will be exposed on the middle of the dash like a couple other new Lexus models. Hopefully Lexus has come up with a non glare screen.

I'm on the lookout for a small premium SUV for my wife. I really like the looks of this SUV and think it may be worth it. But I'm also considering others in the same range, RDX, Q5, Lincoln MKC and so forth. I think there will be too much of a wait for NX though.
