The pursuit of F
Great! Pre-congratulations I guess?!
The HUD, wireless charger, and touch-free back door are convenient features while the power rear seats are a bit slow to operate (the manual seats are quicker, more practical). Also, the wireless charger tray is a bit small for some of the newer larger phones so you'll want to evaluate that.
In short, the Executive package for 3K more is a tough sell to be honest but I'd probably still go for it especially for the HUD as it's so convenient and easy to read. Be aware you will need non-polarized sunglasses (if memory serves me well) or it will be mostly washed out on the windshield.
Also ask about tires (regardless of which package you decide on) - some dealers will accommodate a swap - you'd want the Michelins over all else (Bridgestone, Yokohama, etc) as they ride smoother and more quietly.
Besides this, enjoy once you get it!

Hello ladies and gents. Paul here from central Arkansas.
The wife and I purchased our first Lexus today. It's a 2016 NX 200t Sport in blue vortex metallic.
This is our first journey into luxury vehicles. We traded up from a mid level Camry, so this is quite a step up for us.
I will post some pics in the photo thread tomorrow. Looking forward to hanging out here and gleaning some knowledge from you experienced folks.

Greetings from Canada.
2018 base NX300 in Atomic silver. Was considering a fully loaded new RAV4 (already own one), but for a little bit more, a base NX is really a much better deal.

After dreaming about it for a year I finally bought a 2019 NX. Blue Fsport with everything but the HUD, AVS, 360 camera and the Wireless charger.
After 1 week and a bit driving it here are my thoughts.
In person the car is gorgeous the f sport in blue is the sexiest suv on the road in my opinion.
Interior is pretty good. Comfortable, seats are awesome and plenty of room for our family. The tallest is me at 5'9 so its pretty good.
Cargo has been good so far. I removed the cover that it comes with and am I able to put in way more stuff.
The infotainment has been no issue for me. It took some getting used to but I figured out the sensitivity pretty quick. On the track pad there are some cross hair lines in the middle. I realized if I move my finger the exact length of the line I move one spot left/right or up/down.
Sound system: Good better then my Mazda 3 Bose. I am a bit of an audiophile so I was worried it would suck but its pretty good, I listen to mostly HD radio, XM and bluetooth. I tried USB as well with all FLAC files.
Drive is awesome as well sometimes it can get bumpy if the road is trash but other then that pretty good quite and smooth.
All in all we love the car. I am glad I went with my gut. After a year of research I looked at every suv possible and this fit my needs the best.
