'Glad to be part of the NX Forum! Back in March, I participated in the Lexus NX Driving Experience held at FedEx Field in Landover, MD, and test drove the NX along with other competitors (Acura RDX, Audi Q5, BMW X3, and MBZ GLK) on a closed course with some patches of snow and ice. After driving a few rounds in each of the vehicles, I judged the NX a very capable and strong contender to be our (my wife's) next vehicle.

Fast forward to the end of April, I convinced the wife to accompany me to a local dealer and check out the NX. She reluctantly went on a test drive in a fully equipped Atomic Silver/Flaxen version. After driving the vehicle on side streets and the freeway, she gained a very favorable impression of the driving dynamics and overall feel of the NX. After we returned to dealership and we were about to leave, the salesman showed us a newly arrived Silver/Rioja Red F-Sport AWD. Surprisingly, my wife really liked the combination, and a couple of hours later, we left the dealership in her new ride.

Since acquiring the vehicle, I've added 35% carbon tint all around, clear protective film (applied on the front bumper, partial hood, headlights, DRL's, foglight, side mirrors, and inner door handles), mud guards, Curt trailer hitch #C13214, and festoon LED bulbs for the rear cargo area. Once the license plates arrive, I will install the front plate using the iJDMTOY-version tow hook mount.

I'm kinda surprised Lexus built one with triple beam LED with a comfort package.

My bad... "Comfort Package" is not listed on sticker, however the vehicle is equipped with all elements of the package, plus the triple beam LED headlights.

Picked ours up on Memorial Day. I did, and have done, a lot of lurking here before and after we took delivery. Decided to finally sign up. Good forum and resource. Traded in a '13 Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring AWD. I am a member of several forums, so I know the ropes.

We pretty much got EVERYTHING except the Dynamic Cruise (Pre-Collision) which we, personally, didn't want or need...and AWD. We would have liked the AWD, but oh well...

Oddly, neither of us really like silver cars...AT ALL, but this one really grew on us quickly. Originally, we only went on the lot to look, no test drive. Somehow, this car sat on the lot for three weeks while my wife decided if she actually wanted a new car and if she really liked the NX or not. Once the car (and color) grew on her, we finally went in to take a drive. Amazingly, it was still there! Musta been fate.

As for the color, she says she really likes the contrast of black and silver. Said it really flows from outside to the inside with the silver accents on the dash and door panels. I agreed, and here we are...

We picked up our Ultra sonic blue NX yesterday. I originally planned to order mine. I found a close match to my wants in Oklahoma City. She's replacing a 2013 Camry for my wife. She's Fwd with black interior. She's equipped with premium package, nav, Bsm, intuitive park & summer wheel & tire package. I was hoping for the triple Led lamps, but the single beam is a good compromise. It was either order mine, wait until October, or enjoy this one all summer long.

This is our 5th Lexus vehicle. We've owned an Sc, Lx & a pair of GS's. Totally in love with the bold body lines.

Slapped a coat of Zaino polish to hopefully repel the bug bodies & make that color pop a little.
