Wow most people can’t even find 1 and you have 2 to choose from? Atomic has already depreciated in price, white one will fetch premium price. If you let go of the Atomic post message where so another owner can get great deal on used.
Now in reality, you are not getting the ultralight either. For instance, my wife really hates the white that comes in the 350h, we only like the ultra light which comes in F Sport only. So you don't have that choice. |
I was in that choice, and loved the Atomic Silver and White. After seeing the non-FSport White, I wasn't really a big fan, to be honest.
I ended up going with the Atomic Silver and Palamino interior. I have the Canadian Executive Trim - which includes some nice rims, and tinted the front windows - the car looks amazing in that color scheme, and given the choice, I wouldn't go to any other car other than Atomic SIlver. As they say, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. https://cimg3.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...59add41069.jpg https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...2b35bd85d4.jpg https://cimg0.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...b629e9db4d.jpg |
I have to give some credit to Lexus for even offering the NX in colours other than the grotesquely common whiteblacksilver that I've spent considerable effort in avoiding in the vehicles I've owned. Obviously tastes vary but I have no desire for a vehicle colour that most everyone else has. And I suspect they have those colours not because that's what they really want but because that is all the manufacturer provides.
In the case of the Lexus NX, as is the case for most every vehicle, more appealing (to me) colours become rarer with higher trim levels and are further restricted in combination with available interior choices. A palomino interior was ruled out (too yellow my wife says) and a black interior was ruled out (too hot presumably) and I decided on the executive trim, the only colour choice available to us was cloudburst grey with rioja interior. I would have preferred a green or blue but I am still thankful it's not whiteblacksilver. |

I dont like silver or gray, although the silver on this car looks pretty good for silver. |

I’ve also seen people (quite successfully) scalp these cars for $10-15k over on the “used market” - aka buy, drive home to garage, resell. not sure what it’s like where you are, but my dealer is saying that very few people opt for anything above the “premium trim” (aka ventilated seats, power tilt steering wheel, driver memory and a sunroof) - from what I’ve been told, of all the NXs delivered, I’m one of literally a handful that has the executive (top trim). what are the odds of depreciation being down to an excess of base trims rather than colour? if anything, I’d think it to be Caviar, white and Glacial, as those are the most common ones I’ve seen… but that’s just my 5 cents. |

Thank you guys for all your input. I went ahead and also purchased the white NX 350h today in addition to my Atomic Silver to compare the two. I love the white one so much better. All black accents stand out. Plus I installed black roof cross bars for my Thule cargo box. Looks real nice. On silver everything kind of blends together. I put the two NXs together and asked my kids, family and friends which one they liked better. 100% stated the white hands down. But the most important test was my wife. She also picked the white one. So Atomic Silver is now for sale.

Another option is to sell my 2019 IS 300 F-Sport AWD V6 25k miles and keep both NXs. https://cimg8.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...bebc076b30.jpg https://cimg1.ibsrv.net/gimg/www.clu...84370aa90c.jpg |
What I like about the white f sport is that it blacks out the entire roof and the black against the white really pops out. My first choice was Atomic Silver but I’m beginning to think it might be too dull looking and not pop as much as the white against all the black accents.

Keep both! What are the interior colors? Both Palomino? I actually like the silver one better. Atomic Silver from Lexus looks a little different from the bland silver of other cars.
