Default Car Seat Protection

Hello everyone!

So I just picked up my NX 350h Executive. As my wife instructed me to get a family-conscious vehicle (which the NX is, I swear!) - I have a car seat for a newborn.
The Lexus NX I have (Executive trim, Canada) - has leather seats. I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for some sort of mats or whatnot that would help preserve the seats for the "extended pressure from having a carseat pressing against it".
Don't get me wrong here, the safety of my child is #1 priority, I'm just wondering if there is a mat that would rest against the seat that would prevent damage?

It's a rear-facing child seat (Clek Liingo) - installed with LATCH.

Thanks!

I have used a diono seat guard complete in my current vehicle (f150 / leather) with a rear facing seat. The seat guard is more ridged than some of the flimsy ones on the market. It still left a slight indent in the seat but much less pronounced than if a different one was used or none at all.

Because of the extra rigidity, it's a little harder to get the seat tightened using latch, but I was able to get it to within my seats safety limits - less than an inch of movement front to back and side to side. Definitely going to continue using it once my 350h gets here.

ordered! Thanks!
I read somewhere that it may stain light coloured leather…. I have the palomino leather in my 350h (the leather, not nuluxe). Here’s to hoping it won’t stain it!
