Our NX 350h does not automatically switch driver profiles based on who is driving. Each driver profile can be linked to a key that is supposed to be recognized when that driver approaches and switches to that profile for seat and mirror position and a number of other customizable settings associated with that profile. This does not occur and the car just stays on the last active profile no mater who is driving. I've done extensive testing to verify this and have been working with Lexus national support for the last few weeks to investigate this behavior. I took a detailed video showing them what is occurring and they finally understand and are working on it. They call me every few days with an update to say they understand and are still working on it.

It’s good that you have direct support from Lexus HQ in the US. I am guessing that the basic software is the same worldwide but each country has different elements enabled - e.g. in the UK we do not have the digital key. That suggests to me that although we share many of the profile issues that have been recorded, a fix that works in one country may not work in another unless it is applied to the worldwide base software.

 

My wife was driving as Guest with her key fob the other day and the system asked if we wanted to change to my profile because it had detected my iPhone. I was quite impressed with that.
