2026 nx350. When sunroof is open, and no other windows, I hear a rattle or vibration from passenger side sunroof area. Anyone else hearing this?

 

Try cracking one window. Unfortunately, this is a common behavior for cars with sunroofs. In my cars it is more of a "thumping" sound than a rattle.

 

My Japanese-built NX 350 Takumi was delivered in 2022 and I complained about a driver’s door rattle. The mechanic also thought it was in the door.

On investigation, it was found not to be in the door but was a loose bracket on the Panoramic roof. They packed the bracket with felt and torqued the bolt up. That solved it.

You may have a similar issue from the build so I would recommend getting it fully sorted by the Dealer whilst the car is still fairly new. There isn’t always a direct relationship to where the noise appears to come from and the actual source of the noise!

 

I have greased all the moving parts of the sunroof. That makes a huge difference.
