I've noticed over the last few weeks that I can no longer cancel an active route on Waze by touching the X on the part of the screen, lower left, that used to act as the route cancellation function. I can cancel by saying 'Hey Google", then "cancel route" Anyone else have this? Is there a setting that changed with a Waze update the I missed? When I touch that part of the screen ,the icon changes, but nothing happens.

 

I don't have Android phones myself, but it's probably an app update on your phone created a new bug. The HUD's recently, for a while didn't show graphics of turn by turn from Google maps then it was fixed. I always keep an eye on app updates on my phone (Apple) as I find at times there's like 20 updates that it hasn't performed, why I don't know, but I can force them to do the updates.
