Default Clink from driver's seat

This just started happening but the courtesy seat forward/backward feature when you enter or exit the car (not sure what it is called) now emits a "clink" on the move forward when powering the car on and similarly emits the same clink when turning the car off and the seat moves back for exiting. Almost sounds like something is catching in the mechanism somewhere but I don't see anything obvious. Any ideas?

I've tried to look under my driver's seat for a similar one off occurrence when it made a bit of a crunch sound moving forward and back with the activated entry & exit feature, but it only occurred once. I really couldn't see anything, I couldn't even see the mechanism for the tracks. I did notice that along the side of each seat that faces the centre console, they wrap the carpeting to go from console side panel to along bottom of seat, so you can't drop something down there and it ends up in the tracks, good idea.

I would record it making the sound in a video on your phone so you can show the dealer just in case it stops doing it, you'll have some proof. See what the dealer says, hopefully you still some warranty left.

Hey! I'm having a weird issue and curious if anyone else. My driver's seat makes a loud knocking sound when I turn. It was happening a while back, stopped for a long time, and recently started up again. Nothing under or around it and I know it's my seat because I can feel it. Anyone else have this issue or know what this could be??
