Climate control question
So here A/C is off, temp settings on Low, should be ac compressor still on?bc i notice condensate dripping down to road.which are temp ranges where heating system and cooling system will be off?just to get ambient temp in and save fuel.
The AC will always come on if your temp setting is same or lower than outside temperature. Using the switch to turn on AC is really only you telling the car to prioritize using the AC. There simply is no other way not even magic, will lower the interior temp of your car without using the AC. By not having it turned on you are allowing the car to moderate the AC and if temp outside gets cooler than inside it won't use AC. Lexus is manipulating the AC system to scavenge the best possible gas mileage out of the car. Not turning on AC simply gives it a reason to turn it off it it wants to.
From Manual for Hybrid:
Eco mode In contrast with Normal mode, torque generation is slower when stepping on the accelerator pedal, air conditioning operations (heating/cooling) are restrained, and driving becomes suited for improved fuel consumption.
Operation of the air conditioning system in Eco mode ● In the Eco mode, the air conditioning system is controlled as follows to prioritize fuel efficiency. • Engine speed and compressor operation controlled to restrict heating/cooling capacity • Fan speed restricted when automatic mode is selected ● To improve air conditioning performance, perform the following operations: • Adjust the fan speed • Adjust the temperature setting • Turn off Eco mode ● When the driving mode is set to Eco mode, the air conditioning system may automatically change to Eco mode. To cancel eco mode, press [Eco heat/cool].
In my manual for my '22 hybrid there is 102 references for the words air conditioning. You have a concierge system you can utilize, you have an Auto mode for the HVAC you can utilize, depending on what drive 'mode' you are in it will adjust the function of the air conditioner, especially in ECO Mode.
So grab your popcorn and download the pdf of your model's owners manual. Oh and make sure you have coffee nearby as it's quite a dry read!

I have read already about climate control and there is no answer about it.just that it has S flow, max cool, max heat and eco mode.(also there is one zone and dual zone control system).
so u need to know ambient temp and set the climate control accordingly for not to engage ac or heater.

I have played around also with just trying to get outside air into the car without necessarily using the A/C and my understanding is that if you hit the A/C marker so that the bar above turns GREY the compressor is not on. I could be wrong but when I have done this the air coming out definitely is not as cold as when the compressor is on.
actually it is on.if u let it idle, come out from the car and look down, there will be water(condensate)coming out.it is not as strong as when ac button is on.it is climate control, tries to achieve temp in the cabin u choose
As others have suggested, touching the A/C button until it turns grey turns the compressor off...at least as far as I can tell.
I've been turning the compressor off before parking my cars for UMPTEEN years. Always do it at least one minute before I'll be shutting down the engine. That way condensate does not sit in the system and develop STINKY mold.
Another way to shut off the compressor is initiate the "HEY, LEXUS" deal and say "TURN OFF A-C."

A simple trick I've used to force or make the car think to not turn on the compressor, is to confirm your outside temperature, so if you're just starting out sometimes the temp is off a bit from the sun warming it up. So after you've driven around for a bit you see outside temp is 70 degrees, if you set temp in car to 71 it shouldn't activate the compressor. I can't confirm, but it makes sense, as long as you don't have defrost on.
