Wear pattern on OEM RFT
18" OEM Bridgestone RFT's - the wear pattern is the same on all 4, with inside and outside threads ar 4/32" and the middle at 6/32". I asked the tire shop if they were underinflated, which would account for this but they said that it wouldn't ( I keep them at 33psi), no further explanation. What is your experience? I think I will soon need to replace them.

I am at 21,000 miles only, 4/32" is at the sides it's still 6/32" in the middle. Is yours wearing evenly? Check the depth at the sides, not just in the middle. I do notice the dealership inflates them to 35" which makes for a slightly harder ride.
I was under the impression that the service technician would measure it everywhere and the least tread depth is represented in the inspection. May be I should stop by a tire shop to see if the wear is uneven. Anyways, the burning question is are you going to replace the run flats with the traditional when it is time?

I'm just wondering about something. If you set the psi when you get gas, it means you've been driving and have heated tires. Setting them to 33 will be below that when they cool. The 33 psi on the door jam is for when the tires are cool. Other tire experts here (which I'm not) may have other thoughts on this. Just thought I'd raise the possible issue.
For funsies I went around all my RFT tires with a depth gauge, they are all wearing pretty evenly so far. All tires, all grooves are 7/32nds (+/- 1/64th) so far after 19000km (~ 11800 m). I usually run my tires at 35psi cold.
