compass doesn't work while using google map
 

Hi all,

Just wanted to see if any of you have the same issue and get it fixed?

My onboard compass works fine while using Apple Map and Lexus Map. However, my onboard compass only works when I use Google Map without navigating mode.

If I am using Google Map navigation function, my Lexus onboard compass stucks in one direction and won't change it until I stop google map navigation.

My Lexus onboard compass works totally fine while using Apple Map or Lexus Map in both navigation and show mode.

This is a known issue that I have been waiting for it to be fixed. This works with Android Auto / Google Maps or Waze. In Carplay it stays on the direction where you were facing at the start of the route. Occasionally, the compass does work, but I haven't figured out how to get it working consistently.

I have the exact same problem. Very annoying…

I got new update notification this morning and I got it updated. The Lexus compass itself works perfectly while using google Map in navigation mode.
