Bought new 2024 RX 350 in early April, 3 months later no 2nd Fob. Lexus and dealerships are not communicating on this.
No Service Campaign listed in App under vehicle health.
Not impressed with Lexus' handling of this situation.

So I never had any Service Campaigns listed in the app, but when I did my first oil change in June, when setting up the appointment I told them that I want my battery checked, get an oil change, and maybe get my second fob, and then only after that the service campaign popped up for me that there is a second key available, because the dealer requested it I guess idk, anyway got my 2nd fob at 7 month I guess it depends... if you go to your dealer earlier, you may try to request one and may get one, who knows

 

I asked my dealer Service Advisor, he indicated it's around 6 months for the 2nd key fob.

 

Took delivery on 6/3/2024. Just go off the phone with Lexus and they stated based on our build date(April) we should get our second fob in October, hopefully

 

New buyers. Tell your sales agent you want 2 fobs or you cannot take delivery. Worked for us 2x’s. Spell it out and have in writing.

 

Only one key fob, they are saying 4-6 months for second fob. Cars coming in from Ontario have two fobs, does not make much sense.

 

Who said cars from Ontario are getting 2 fobs?

 

Our NX was also built in April and delivered to us on June 6th. This morning I was also informed that my second FOB would not be available until October. My dealer attempted to order a FOB, and advised me that there were 196 FOB's backordered system wide FWIW
