I have searched the forum and all the manuals but can't find what I'm looking for. Would anyone know if our NXs are equipped with a valet mode and if so, what does it do? In the APP there is a guest driver section with a valet option, but to me that appears to only track how the car is driven by someone else when that option is checked. No mention of what that actually does that I can find in the documents. Was hoping this mode would limit the speeds the car can be driven when in valet mode.

We're off on another vacation and parking at the airport again, this time in the valet lot. Hopefully this lot provides enough protection to avoid the car being stolen. This is why I'd like to know about valet mode.

I have not heard or read anything about a driver restriction valet mode. The only thing I recall is that you can lock your glove box with the mech key and then remove it from the fob so the attendant doesn't have access to your glove box. So it doesn't seem like you can restrict what the attendant does, but you can of course track and review any trips taken with the Lexus app.
