Default Windshield Wipers

My windshield wipers comes on and won’t turn off. They work properly for a couple weeks then after it rains does the same thing. I was told I have to replace my windshield but that just doesn’t make sense. Has anyone had this issue ?

If your car has automatic windshield wipers, I have to assume your issue has something to do with this option.

What year NX

Is this the dealership telling you to replace the windshield?

Is it still under warranty?

So the dealership told you the wiper sensor built into the windshield is bad? And that the windshield is not covered by your warranty?

Was there damage to the windshield? Did it get replaced in the past?

Have you tried another dealership and see what they say?

if your windshield is distorted right at the sensor, then you will need a new windshield, If that is not the case, it is most likely a bad sensor or bad installation of the sensor. Get a second opinion.
