Very interesting. How would someone figure that out?

 

There is a dial on the dash near your right knee.

 

I know about the ASL dial and turning it on/off. My question was about how one would know that the noise was the exhaust system and not something else (like the suspension changing, as I initially thought it was).

 

Try it with ASL on and then off. ASL is loudest in Sport+ mode.
