Can't install Enform 2.0
 

Hi everyone,

I'm new to the forum and thought maybe someone here could help me out. I just bought a 2019 Lexus NX Sport Series 2, UltraSonic Blue 2.0 here in Canada yesterday. All is well but for the life of me I can't get the enform 2.0 update installed. It downloads gets to the install screen then about half way through I get the error 'can't install'. Wouldn't be a a huge deal but it pops up everyone I restart the vehicle which is annoying. I'd go back to the dealership but its a 5.5 hour drive away. Has anyone else experienced this issue and or have a remedy for it? Thanks in advance, John.

I had the same experience. There will be plenty of responses from other guys that will help you out! It took me forever to get it installed, not worth it for me! I don't even know where to start telling you how to do it! I just tried and tried, and it finally worked!
As for me, I personally think the car is WAY "overteched"! Just as proof, open the regular owner's manual to the operation of the tailgate--- 14 PAGES, (YEAH--14 PAGES) just to operate the tailgate!! As I said, WAY overteched!!! LOL
I finally have enform installed, but IMHO, (as a 79year old dinosaur) I get along just fine without most of the "improvements" the car has.
Overall the car is an OK car. It won't WOW you, but it will do it's job with little fanfare and get you where you're going with efficiency and even a little comfort!
Just don't expect an entry level Lexus to be a top of the line Lexus, there are reasons why the NX is $40+ k car and a top of the line Lexus is a over 90 +K!

I like it, especially the colour, had a 2017 NX premium atomic silver before and absolutely hated the colour once I bought it. I realize it's not a $90,000 Lexus, and I won't use the enform anyway, its outdated, I just dont like the prompt to update every time I start the vehicle. Will keep trying, maybe eventually it works.

I had the same issue before. Just go into setting and delete all personal information on the Enform system in your vehicle. Power off your car for a min. and do the update again should fix it.
