Master Warning Light and Display
I have had occasion to haul large items around in my NX. Yesterday I picked up an umbrella for our new patio. I knew that it would not fit completely in the vehicle. The box was about 18" square and 11' long. I lowered the rear seat moved the front seat up as far as possible and slid the carton inside the vehicle. I pushed the close button on the rear hatch and let it come down to a point where it was just touching the top of the box.
When I started the vehicle the display showed that the rear hatch was open, I knew that!. As soon as I started to move the Master Warning Signal (yellow triangle with exclamation point) started dinging away. As soon as I stopped it stopped. Drove home about 15 minutes with non stop dinging.
Now the simple question, is there a way to silence it once you have been alerted at least till the next time you start the vehicle?

Not really. Japanese are very practical people. This is why they have practical vehicles for practical purposes. NX is not a practical vehicle hence, it is not designed to handle practical situations.
Say a prayer your Overlord, main ECM, didn't go Christine on you. How dare you to carry boxes on this vehicle? Blasphemy.

That's my truck, moved most of my house with it. It's always good to know if you left a door or window open but once you get the message there should be a way to mute the alert until you start the car again. Next to the Jaguar F Pace that I bought and sold this is the next worst vehicle I have ever owned.
