Default Odometer wrong at start up

I have a new 2019 NX. I noticed that every time I start the car up the odometer reading is off by about 4500 miles for about 3 seconds. Then it sets itself to the correct total mileage. For example I start the car and watch the odometer and it said 7000 miles, in a few seconds it changes down to 2500 miles which is the correct milage and then its fine. If you aren't looking for this you never will notice it. Anyone else notice this happening?

That's the service interval mileage. You should notice a little wrench next to the numbers.

Yes I checked and now see the little wrench....However, the number it displays is meaningless. It also increases as the mileage changes. Every time I restart the car it adds approx 4500 miles to whatever my mileage is.

The service interval mileage is a countdown until your next oil change. It starts at 10,000 and counts down.
