Side mirrors tilt in R

:egads: Just the other day after owning my 2016 NX for over a year I discovered if you put the side mirror adjuster toggle switch to the left or right mirror they will tilt down in R. If you toggle the switch in the middle they don't tilt down for reverse.

Someone hasn't read the manual..... I have to admit i haven't had the time to read about how to use voice commands in mine either.

and if you haven't had the dealer program the remote to roll down the windows and open the sunroof when you hold the unlock button on the remote, they'll do a one time program for free.
I had them do that for my first 5k service.

you might have to go back and read some of the old threads for undiscovered tricks/options in the NX/or lexus car for that matter.

Ditto, and I also asked them to change the timing of the lane change turn-signal from 3 to 5 seconds. Oh, and they replaced my cargo area and back-up lights with the LED lights I supplied.

Nope!

"Safety Regulations," I was told.

My wife’s Sorento has it better. Both side mirrors tilt down automatically when on reverse.

ypu can program the NX mirrors to go wherever you want when in reverse. So if down is your preference, just put the car in reverse, move the mirrors to where you want, and then put the car in park. It’ll go back to previous location. Sorento has nothing in the NX!

I don’t know if it’s part of a package but our 2015 NX tilts the mirrors down in reverse.

If the Lexus has memory position seats then it will have the Reversing Position feature.
