Tank gauge goes crazy

This is on my '17 F Sport with about 10,000 miles. Lexus replaced my Navi display after they determined it is bad (problems: Backup camera got stuck on while in Drive for many times and sometimes it does not respond to mouse clicks). That issue is ok for now but I have other issues right after that.
  • I filled up gas, tank gauge showed Full, Range said 353 miles, and tank MPG worked as design (Great)
  • Drove car for 2 days, Tank gauge showed 2/3 full, Range showed 260 miles, tank MPG showed 25.8 mpg (awesome)
  • Next morning - tank is FULL and Range is 351, tank MPG stays the same - WTF? I freaked out, called my wife and son...but no one drove the car nor refilled it. Did someone fill my tank (from my garage)? Should not since my closest neighbors are 300-500 feet away and super awesome I treat them like my parents)
  • Drove the car for couple hours, Tank gauge and Range went down (good, still working) but tank MPG stayed the same. Moments later the tank gauge went back up to FULL and stuck there. Should I call the doctor 'cause it can't get down :):) ?
  • 2 days later, Range went back up to 350 miles while gauge still got stuck at Full and tank MPG didn't change
  • I notified the dealer and still waiting for their response.
Did it ever happen to your Lexus? Thanks.

they literally just replaced the display itself? I could be wrong, but I don't think there are a lot of processing in the display itself. I could understand if the backup camera was stuck on a frozen image, but it was actually a live view. Seems to me they should have replaced the nav/entertainment computer.

Right. I questioned that myself too. The display is just "a dummy display" ..but I guess they are just buying time since the display is MUCH cheaper. I have not driven it that much after the fix because of the weird gas tank sensor. Who knows what will break next.

Update:
Well, as it turned out I got roden damage. The damn thing chewed the wires sitting above the gas tank. They finally dropped the tank to look for issues and found that.

$410 later and I'm on my way. What a *****ing coincident (car sat at dealership for a week, got it home and couple days later this happened).
