I actually like this. Yes, it's stupidly overdone but that's what concepts are for. My only concern with it and it's still my concern with Lexus' design theme is that spindle. It just doesn't work equally as well on every vehicle they make. Maybe, once this shape has entrenched itself in public consciousness they can start refining and making it more sophisticated on future designs.

They'd better be well prepared to launch a serious NX-F to go with that look! Otherwise it's too much...

Firstly, I think the video gives a better idea of how it looks.
From the interview for Norwegian costumers says that they expect the same powertrain as for IS300, and that it probably will go on sale in 2014.

It is a concept people, calm down.

The point of the concept is to get a market reaction.

I for one welcome this design, they want to attract a younger Lexus buyer to become repeat brand loyalists. This means Lexus is embracing change and embracing the future. I've been happy with all of the concepts we've seen so far, the LF-GH/CT/CC/LC/NX. Lexus is hot and getting hotter.

I like it...we all know it isn't going to be this extreme. Fingers crossed this gets released sooner rather than later.

like most concepts the headlights, tail light, wheels, and side mirrors will not translate directly to the production model. Although the lights on the concept look like the RC prototype . You can see the standard ubiquitous slit side mirror that works with a camera that all manufacturers seems to be using on their concepts

i just hope that overall shape and concept goes through... so more like Evoque competitor than X1.
That would be a smash hit for them.

I see LFA styling cues everywhere (taillights, front headlights, rear wheel shoulder, etc.).....awesome! Hope it translates well to the production version of the NX!
