AndyL, 3h 19min, but who's counting! As with many folks here I'm sure, I've been only waiting for this vehicle for three years now, what's another 3 hours!

anybody remember my thread about Lexus being inconsistent throughout their lineup?

How the the NX doesn't get a hidden rear wiper? That really bothers me that the RX debuted it, then a bunch of Toyota models got it and now the NX doesn't get the treatment.

I have a feeling the NX will be a goldmine of sales. Hell, the spindle look even gave the GX a huge increase in sales. Spindle + bold designs = Good job Lexus!

This is NOT the direction we should be moving in. Driver control of a vehicle should be #1 priority. Does anyone care about being in control of their car's moves anymore? I must be losing my mind or going off the deep end...
I think we should hold our judgments until the actual car is seen and photos taken.
Of course last minute refinements may even be made before its USA release.

Right...and when you have 8 speeds shifting it yourself becomes even more of a bother.

As for the shifter placement...in my GS the RTC controller falls perfectly into hand, and its closer to the passenger and its a bigger car with a wide console. We're only talking about 2-3 inches one way or the other...

Finally some great pictures to look at!

Both non F Sport and F Sport NX look great. The interior looks much better in high resolution. And the view helps. Interesting the side mirrors despite they are are blackened, these set of pictures make them look better. Again, look forward to the ones that are to be shown here at 8:00PM PDT

Quick observations about the interior:

1. Dark wood trim on doors instead of the silver trim in IS
2. Heated/cooled seat buttons are right below the climate control cluster which should be within reach based on the size of the cabin
3. Foot rest is now metal in the F Sport -- better than 3IS where only gas and brake pedals are metal
4. Traditional 2-circle arrangement for the tachometer and the speedometer
5. "TRACTION" & "OFF" buttons are placed side by side right below the Driver Selector -- this is an improvement over the vertical arrangement in 3IS.
6. They go back to use silver coloured plastic door handles like the one in GS

I appreciate that it's something different. Can't wait to see the mpg numbers. My biggest thing is that I believe this one car that would truly benefit from the belt line being just a bit lower.

Autoguide report not official HP numbers but 220-230hp is estimated..

3 engines in Europe.... A NX 200, NX200t and NX300h

We won't get NX 200

And as someone reported, there is a wireless charging station for electronic devices.
