Default Garlic Festival in Gilroy

Hey, just wondering how many of you are going to the Garlic festival on the weekend of July 26-28 located in Gilroy. Looks like admission is $15 or $25 with the meal. It'll be my first time going so the garlic ice cream I hear so much about should be rather interesting....

Never been but heard it was an experience.

Garlic ice cream is an acquired taste.

FYI, for those of you who never been there. I wouldn't recommend taking a lowered/ slammed car there. You have to park in a dirt field... I made that mistake like 3 years ago.

garlic ice cream was an interesting taste lol. to me, it was tasted a little spicy but not spicy? be sure to have the garlic fries and garlic shrimp scampy. mmm

I'll be there saturday morning and then wekfest in san jose afterwards. I won't be taking my sc though. How bad is the dirt parking? Are there potholes? I'll be taking a lowered scion tc.

I was fortunate enough to not hit a pothole in the dirt. I also drove a lowered tc, but it was only lowered about 3/4 of an inch all around. there's a lot of bumps that I was worried about. on my way out they happened to be "watering" down the dirt to prevent the dirt from flying up.. took me a while to power wash my fender liners/ wheels. keep in mind though, this was 3 years ago. it may possible be different now, but I doubt it.

Thanks for the heads up. Unfortunately those are the only two cars I have so being that my lex sits lower, the tc has to go.

no problem, if you drive slow enough it'll be okay. Only thing that sucked was cleaning the car after.
