This event has been on the Certified Event calendar in the Past and we have had organized caravans to LA including hotel discounts and pre-meet and afterparty GTG with the SoCal crew. Typically around 10 NorCal cars and definitely a lot of good times in the past.
I have gone to this event the past 5 years, but unfortunately there was no NorCal Coordinator support available this year and also checking with past attendees, there was a notable lack of interest to gather a crew this year, so sadly this activity never made it to the Event calendar.
Hopefully there will be more interest next year and we will get this activity back up on the calendar in 2013.

Part of that failure was those two were late lol. We're going 130mph on the highway I heard

No, I texted him on the way. I saw Coconutjc (photoshootmycar.com Jeff), and two TNT Autobody Scions (Todd and Jeremy) but those are Toyota and Scions.
one word of advice..never use plastic wrap instead of painters tape to cover your front end..lol
it lasted maybe 1 mile on freeway and we had to pull into paint shop to buy tape.lol
what kind of plastic wrap did you guys use???
we used the ones you use in the warehouse to wrap palettes with...
works perfectl if you do it right

yup... that's it... you just go a few times over on the front... make sure to punch holes for the radiator n stuff and you're done... fast, waterproof, and easy on / off too...
we did glen's car least year like this for wekfest
i think this is like 10 times faster than blue tape plus a lot nicer to look at as well...
