Take it to Tire Outlet in San Jose. Talk to Joseph (he's a CL member) his guys does really good alignments, and his machine is flush mount so you dont have to worry about scraping

Any recommendations on an alignment shop that will allow us to adjust the ride height (air with elevel) to get it in spec for longer drives?

Is it recommended that after you get new tires on, you should drive on them for a while so they can settle in before getting an alignment done? Or is it OK to just get one done right away.

Since the rear camber of the 3GS isn't exactly really adjustable, Orlando did his best to make sure when the car was on the rack it would be within specs. It was a bit tricky, but he got it done. Can't wait to get the Cusco rear camber kit when I put on the Air Runners.

I have friends that go to Motorsport Techniques in Hayward also for above services with great results, everything from a super slammed 2IS to 370z.. they got it done in a timely matter. These would be my two recommendations for alignment shops.

Auto Innovation is where I take all my cars for alignment and tires. they're the only shop i've seen that lines up the valve stem with the marking on the tires.

Hey guys,
Just got my s13 (DD) aligned at Wheel Works in Livermore, Car is dropped about 3.5 inches from the ground on the front and they had no problem adjusting the camber plates and the rest of the suspension to get it back into factory specs. They also use an IN GROUND alignment rack and I was told that they could get a car as low as 1 inch off the ground on there.

I have some aftermarket suspension pieces on there so it fell under a "performance alignment" but it was $139 for a "performance alignment" ( altho i payed a bit less :P) It's less if you're using factory adjustment but idk how much.

Hope this helps!

If you are really serious about a custom alignment done right. Both of these shops are very good.

Custom alignment http://www.customalignment.com/
Custom Alignment Balance and Brakes
2599 Wyandotte Street, Unit A
Mountain View, CA 94043

California Wheel
http://www.caliwheels.com/
2250 Winchester Blvd., Campbell CA 95008
41 South Capitol Avenue San Jose, CA 95127

I have had both of my Corvette's done at both places. Custom alignment has great techs that really know how to set up a suspension for either road course or autocross.

I take my Z06 to California Wheel in Campbell because it is conveniently on my way to and from work..
