You can sand down and repaint or pay to have a shop do it for you. It's unfortunate, but this part of the interior really feels cheap and not what Lexus should be.

I'm actually going to try to put some flat black vinyl over the passenger side and see if it looks natural.

if it has already grooved the plastic its pretty much gonna be there. u can sand it to make it smoother but its not gonna get rid of it.. but the sandpaper is gonna make the area look even worse..

my suggestion.. just wrap it in some carbon vinyl or something similar.

Yeah i think ill try to wrap it with flat black vinyl..thanks for all the help guys..haha i was so stupid..shoulda read the instruction..it told me to tape the sides incase scratches...damn..where can i buy the flat black vinyl? and would it be hard to Wrap it? cause i never did it before..:(...do i take the whole thing out and wrap the whole thing or just that part?

I was wondering which is better or is both the same?

If you were to wrap it only stick with 3m brand stuff. It.sticks better for sure uv protected and pretty close match to out dash color, I had a portion of my dash wrapped ( flat part right above glove box) another thing is the area u scratched is really curvey and complexed to wrap and the scratches u made might be too deep to cover by just wrapping it. another suggestion is You can buy a used center console on eBay, I see them all the time as I some scratches from previous owner did in my car also but not as bad as yours

Really? you think taping it wont work?...what kinda tape do you use? ima just give it a try...see if it works..if not ill try to change it buying one from ebay...
