Anyone in the Bay Area, particularly SF do headlight retro fits? I have an 01 LS430 and was thinking about doing the Q45 retro fit. Please let me know where and how much and also if materials are included. Thanks!

Has a Q45 been done on an LS430? Usually people with a GS are doing Q45 or LS430 retro on their cars.

I thought the LS lights were actually some of the best HIDs out there.

Wouldn't a Q45 retro actually be a downgrade?

lol, when are mods always about "upgrade" if that's the case, almost all body kits are fail already, lol

i don't know about in the US, but i think i have seen jdm celsior with q45 retrofit

I would recommend the company Flashtech:

They have done many retrofits, including Q45 projectors! They did the E55 bi-xenon projectors on my IS300, and they were great! They charge a reasonable price; however, they are located in Metairie, LA.

If you do contact them, make sure you ask for Steve as he is very knowledgeable and he's the boss!

I like the Q45s with Halos. How do they attach? Adhesive?

yep, the LED halos are attached using some very strong adhesives...there are no issues with them what-so-ever...i actually prefer them over the CCFL halos as these are much more durable and much brighter too...and when I say bright, i mean BRIGHT =)

I just switched over from CCFL to LED halos, so far, no issues
