Default 580/237 to 880 Merge Construction. Ruined my front end!

So anways, i have to rant about this. Theres all this construction going on in the 580/237 to 880 merge where its two lanes. So my wife is driving 238 to 580 toward Tracy. I guess they are doing construction and theres some MAJOR dips. Well it happened to rip off my front bumper, pull the fender out and the fender lining is all out of place. What a headache now to repair the damage and repaint..... Im never driving that route until its all done.

Just wanted to pass word for those who are lowered. I drove by and the dip really is HUGE. Theres two in particular..one that drops down and one that goes upward awkwardly...

Report your situation to CalTrans.
My buddy hit a big bump where it changes levels instantly and bent 3 of 4 of his wheels...He files a claim and CalTrans paid for all 3 wheels to be fixed.

Sorry to hear your pain.

It's worth a try to submit your claim.

Was there any signage to reduce speed below 65mph?

There was signs...she slowed down BUT the level change is HUGE. Ive heard of ALOT of people ruining there cars so far.... its been like that past few days. Im just gonna replace the undershield plastic and repaint the bumper. I dont want to haggle with the claim. I just think its not safe where it levels instantly and how high it gets suddenly.
