I'm going to go on Saturday. I'm still in India right now, and I will arrive Thursday evening. I'll still be jet lagged so I should ahve no problem waking up very early on Saturday 
Also, I should have my car back and painted! Not sure if I'll want to drive it all the way to Alameda though... I've never worried abotu rock chips in my life before.. now I'm going to be

Suneet you are gonna have to post pictures of the car once you pick it up. Hope you make here safe tonite. Have a good trip. I'll probably catch you some other time. I already planned on going on Sunday sorry man. Probably see you at EOS.

Although we would like to accommodate all who wish to join us on Aug 11 & 12, we must limit attendance to those with confirmed registrations only.
For those who have been placed on the waitlist or priority standby list, and are thus unable to be accommodated for this event, we would like to inform you of another Southern California Lexus Drive opportunity. From August 20-23 between 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, a sampling of vehicles from our model line-up, including the all-new LS 600h L, will be available for test drives at Whole Foods in Pasadena. Product Specialists will be on hand to answer any questions and accompany you on a drive in the neighborhood. The address for Whole Foods is 3751 East Hill Boulevard, Pasadena, 91107.

I'll be there bright and early Saturday 9 am...or at least I'll try--I'll be driving down from Sactown...LOL!!!
Extreme99--sorry to hear that they couldn't squeeze you in; I added my wife as a guest a few weeks after I registered...needless to say, she was wait-listed (kicking myself at that point for assuming that she wasn't interested in going)...I was worried that she might not get in, to the point that I had to ask my buddy for a reg code (he had four of them) so that she could get a confirmation--even then, the only slots still open were the late afternoon ones.
The only "dilemma" I'll have to deal with is deciding whether to go for the breakfast or lunch meals--I read in the TOL thread in the CL Car Chat forum that supposedly they are limiting registered guests to either breakfast or lunch this time around (controlled via the card that you'll be given, which you'll have to use to register for the test drives and meals).

Heck yeah,I will be there!
No kidding about the hush hush,I knew nothing about it until my brother got an invite last Tuesday.I supppose it was luck that let me have a spot.
I got in @4 on Sat.
