Awesome. Thanks for the recommendation!

With regards to the meet, I would love to, but I have a bazillion things going on at the moment. I have a relative coming into town and I am currently coaching in addition to work - so I am full up. But I would love to make it sometime to see what people have done.

Maybe we could all meet for lunch sometime near the 101 and 880. A nice central location.

And I forgot to ask: What do you guys recommend? Whatever I choose, I want it to be the same all the way around, and I intend to do the two front windows. So, maybe 50% all the way around?

Thanks.

50 a little light but that's just me, 40 would be cool all around. I have Huper Optik on the side windows and Suntek on the rear. Mines 30 rear, 40 back doors and 50 front doors.

the way it was explained to me if you want an even looking tint you have to stagger the tint darkness % a bit.

This is because the rear window is much larger and allows more light in than the much smaller side rear and front side windows.

Alot of good tint shops will do a staggered setup if you ask them for a uniform tint all around.

hope that helps

I got mine done at automall tint too and they are good. They've got all the samples and pictures and such so they can help you decide what to get.

Has anyone here done blue tint? Is this place y'all talking about do blue?
There's a few international SC430's w/ green tint all around and they look real nice.

But, can I get a away w/ a very light blue tint all around (except the front windshield) in CA?
Ok, stupid question for all around tint cause you will say it's illegal.

But, instead of black tint, i was thinking a very very light blue tint.

I like tint but just don't want to get hassled by LE rolling around town.
I don't get hassled now, but if I had a light blue tint it would look nicer.
But then again, it's another thing for LE to get you for.

Just curious.

thanks....teeman3

I suggest go back to the dealer and have them tint it.
Because, the dealer will take care the fix-it ticket for you and tint it back on for free as long as you have that car.

It is a bit pricy, but I think the package is unbeatable.

I had my car done at California tinting on King rd, san jose many many years ago. I was very satisfied. Don't know how they're doing nowaday, however.
