Livermore: Rocky Mountain Window Tint
Llumar Air Blue 80 ceramic film

His work is very clean. I've checked the top of all door windows and you can't see the line where the film reaches the top edge of the glass.

Can anyone recommend a good and affordable tint shop in the Bay Area?

Looking to tint 5 windows, except windshield on my IS350. Hoping to spend around $200.

Thanks in advance!

Default Canlas Mobile Tint

The guys at Canlas Mobile Tint (they also have a shop) did a great job on my RCF, 35% all around (even the windshield)

Wow. 35% is really dark on the windshield. How's the visibility at night?

My original plan was to only do 70% on the front as I had the same concerns as you, but then rode around at night in my friend's cars which is also 35% all around and it was fine. If I had to do it all over again, I would do 20% all around, but 35% for the windshield.

Yes Canlas is great they just did my GS F Sport and I was very happy. although I did 70% on my windshield, 5% back and 18% front.

HOLY CRAP 35% on front windshield that's dark. I am assuming you will get a fix it ticket quickly.

Hey folks,

i have a 2001 RX300 with the goldish/chrome color, reflective factory tint installed on the rears. I've tried calling recommended window tint shops around the east bay area, but no one seems to have a film that can closely match my factory tint. Has anyone here have a similar factory tint on their rx300 and have successfully match the tint on the front windows? any recommendation?

Thanks

My three LS's, from the 2000 LS400 to the 07 LS460 to the latest 18 LS500, have all been tinted at this Pleasanton shop called Kar Tunz. They do great works.

Hi Mike,

Your LS looks clean. I’m looking for a tint shop. Can you share info of your buddy’s shop? I’m leaning towards the same product you used for the tint. The weather in CA isn’t really warm yet but do you notice a difference before/after the install? Thanks.

Hi Peter, i am traveling with work with the car this week in Florida. Its dramatic the difference with Crystalline.
Only Huper Optik is as good and Stato by Lumar. I heard Stratos too thick
anyway, G5 Window Tint in Alhambra ask for Ricky, there great and kind.
been going there for years.
good luck pete. If you dont like a bit dark go 50% Crystalline in California it will do great with weather and look
if your younger and like darker tints go 40%
good luck
