Elite Auto in Fremont. Ask for Goshan. Hands down best place for tint and clear bra. Yelp him and see the endless great reviews. Just had my car done and it was FLAWLESS

Has anyone tired Protective Window Films in Vacaville? My coworker got his done [and they also do limo tints] but I don't know if he's worth it. Reviews on Yelp are few.

It depends highly on where you go and what kind of tints you want...Price will vary greatly; your best bet is to call in and ask them yourself. With that said, it sounds like most places are about 200-250 for 5 windows, no idea what it'd be for 3...

I took my old Tahoe, as well as Subaru to SunTint in Santa Rosa (yes a bit of a drive). Bob is the manager/owner and either him or his partner does the work. They have a ton of selections as far as darkness, metallic, and type of tint goes. All of them are the best quality. When replacing speakers in my Tahoe I noticed that they tint the entire window even what is below the door panel. And they give you a lifetime warranty. I plan on taking my IS250 there to get the tint a little darker than what it came with. http://www.suntintauto.com/

Took my GS to Automall Tint Specialist on Monday and got the tints Glen got. I didn't know what it was because I'm not too familiar with how tints look on red. But i got 50% front, 30% rear, 20% back. Cost me $325 cash after discounts! Sidney booked me and did the tint. Took about 4hours and it looks great!

Most people here are talking about their experiences in the shop and customer service. That's great and all (and yes, it is important), but I would think that the most important thing is what the quality is like. Any reports after a few years and how the tint is doing? Is there any bubbling? Did you have to have it redone?

As an example, I can report mine. I had my tint done around January 2008 at Rocky Mountain Window Tint in Livermore (looking back, apparently I had a really long post on this thread and review: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/3180754-post179.html). After 3 years and 9 months, I can say that it still looks great! No bubbling or peeling at all. In fact, I wasn't careful one day and my seatbelt tore a small hole in the driver side tint; the hole is about the size of the circle on a 6 in this standard font size. It hasn't peeled or gotten worse in any way. Be careful with those seatbelts!

can anybody here with tint from best image post pics and what % they got? I recently had my girl's fit done there and with 35% in the fronts and 20% in the back, it didn't look as dark as my WRX with 35% all around done at omega by vince. Vince's is still great, and i loved the tint on my wrx, but hes gotten really expensive and hes fully booked

^ I'd highly recommend going to local meets to compare tint percentages. It's hard to tell from pictures.

Just got our CT tinted at "Tint2k" in Sacramento, 35% and 55%, apparently the CT has 9 windows! I got the Suntek CXP, a new carbon film Suntek released, with lifetime warranty.

I highly recommend this shop, Mike is a true professional, I watched him through out the entire process of installation, he was willing to explain each step taken with no hesitation. He was running behind for my appointment (he was tinting a brand new IS350), but he was kind enough to pay for my lunch from the roach coach.

I will post pictures when the sun comes out...

Here's their info:
